Spring, Summer and Fall Internships

Spring and fall Outdoor Education Internship

Summer Leadership Staff Internship

Recreation Internship Example of Goals for University

Previous Central Michigan University Intern testimony: I completed a 15 week internship at Mystic Lake YMCA Camp. While there I functioned as Summer Camp Director. Throughout the internship I was able to apply the practical knowledge that we learned in the classroom, as well as gain knowledge and experience that you can only learn by being hands-on in the field. Not only was I able to complete my internship, but in the process I made real and impactful connections and relationships with staff members and campers. To put it simply - I think the world would be a better place if everyone had the opportunity to work at a summer camp. If you are looking for a dynamic internship that is just as fulfilling on a personal level as it is on a professional level, this is your place!
