SEE YOURSELF HERE

Overnight Camp is about learning skills, developing character, and making friends in a community. Campers and staff alike learn and practice how to be independent and contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. Overnight camp teaches self-reliance, a love for nature, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership—all amidst the fun of camp fires, canoeing, archery, talent shows, and meaningful relationships. Counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.

Fall Positions Available:

Outdoor Education Instructor  and Outdoor Education Internships

Previous Intern testimony: I completed a 15 week internship at Mystic Lake YMCA Camp. While there I functioned as Summer Camp Director. Throughout the internship I was able to apply the practical knowledge that we learned in the classroom, as well as gain knowledge and experience that you can only learn by being hands-on in the field. Not only was I able to complete my internship, but in the process I made real and impactful connections and relationships with staff members and campers. To put it simply - I think the world would be a better place if everyone had the opportunity to work at a summer camp. If you are looking for a dynamic internship that is just as fulfilling on a personal level as it is on a professional level, this is your place!
