Summer Program Positions

Camp Cabin Counselors: Responsible for campers' daily care and leading enriching activities like team-building and adventures. Counselors live in cabins with campers to foster close relationships and maintain strong staff-to-camper ratios.

Camp Leadership Team: Preferred age 21+. This team supports programming and cabin life in roles like Waterfront Coordinator, High Adventure Coordinator, Operations Director, and Age Group Directors.

Commitment

The summer position begins in June with online child safety training and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Lifeguarding, and High Adventure Programming. Staff then participate in an intensive week of leadership, program facilitation, and child development training. For summer 2025, positions run from June 8 to August 11. Staff can apply in the fall, with interviews conducted on a rolling basis through June.

Spring and Fall Outdoor Education and Retreats Positions

Mystic Lake hosts schools and groups for educational trips and retreats. Outdoor Education staff teach about the natural environment, foster social and emotional skills, and connect classroom learning to the outdoors. On weekends, staff lead team-building and high adventure activities with youth groups.
