Virtual Auction Funds Lansing Y’s Scholarships
‘Tis the season of giving—to loved ones, and to those in need. The Lansing YMCA has come up with a way for people to do both at the same time: for the second year in a row, the Lansing Y is conducting a virtual charity auction where participants may bid on a variety of items and experiences, knowing that all proceeds are used to support families and children in the Greater Lansing community. Every dollar raised goes toward the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, supporting scholarships that send more kids to summer camp and swim lessons, and also allow more working families to access the Y’s child care.
Prizes up for bid include:
- Black car taking you to Wharton center and University club
- Signed David Montgomery Lions Jersey
- Date nights across Lansing
- Sports collector items
- Attending Disney World Family Adventure
- Tours to, Breslin and Lasch Golf Centers
- Suite at MSU Munn Ice Arena Stadium and so much more!
How to Participate: The bidding for this year’s auction begins on Wednesday, December 11th, at 8:00 a.m. and concludes on Friday, December 13th at 8:00 p.m. Shoppers don’t need to wait until then to start viewing the items: it’s available online now via computer, tablet, or smartphone.
